We’ve been changing things up inside Great Lakes as the season turns. From the moment you walk in, you’ll see fresh displays and new things to look at—and the meat counter is still the star of the show. If it’s been a while since you stopped in, come take a look around!
September 14th prices
We’ve seen ribeye prices continue to increase over the past month. While we definitely don’t like seeing prices go up, we’re not willing to switch to a cheaper, lower-quality beef just to keep the price down.
We want to continue carrying the same quality beef our customers know and expect from us. Thankfully, most of our other beef prices have remained fairly steady — ribeyes just seem to be the one cut that keeps climbing right now!
We’re hoping to see those prices come back down soon, and as always, we’ll continue keeping our prices as fair as we can without sacrificing quality.

THANKSGIVING TURKEY ORDERS START IN OCTOBER!
It’s never too early to start thinking about Thanksgiving! We’ll begin taking orders for our fresh Amish turkeys starting in October.
These turkeys are fresh — not frozen and are a Thanksgiving favorite every year.
Starting in October, simply stop into the store and place your turkey order at our front checkout counter.
We’ll share more information, including available sizes and pickup details, as Thanksgiving gets closer.

YOUTH HUNT, LIBERTY HUNT & EARLY ANTLERLESS SEASON
What a great start to deer season! We had a busy weekend and absolutely loved seeing everyone come through — especially all of the first-time deer hunters. There’s something pretty special about seeing kids bring in their first deer and getting to be a small part of a memory they’ll never forget.

Next up — October 1st! We’re getting everything ready for the start of archery season and can’t wait to see everyone again.
